You can quickly create contracts for the majority of your customers with the Simple editor. To create more customized contracts with complex logic, you can use the Advanced editor.
Products
You can add multiple products here. This describes your products/services that you offer, including pricing models, features, discounts, etc.
Pricing model - Specify the price of the product. You can select various pricing models, including per-unit pricing, tiered pricing, volume pricing, and percentage pricing.
Aggregate ID - This refers to the key usage metric, e.g., no of API calls, from which the price is decided for the specific customer ID.
Features - This includes discounts and free units which you can add to the contract.
When you click on continue this template will be created and visible in Contracts > +Add a new contract > Template
Pricing models explained
If the pricing model you require is not available, you can request a pricing model. Please contact our support team to request the addition of pricing models.
- Pre unit pricing: A pricing model where the cost per unit decreases as the number of units purchased increases.
- Volume pricing: A pricing model where the price per unit decreases as the volume of units purchased increases.
- Tiered pricing: A pricing model where the price per unit decreases as more units are purchased.
- Percent pricing: A pricing model where the price is calculated as a percentage of a specific metric, such as revenue or usage.
